Sage 50 Quantum vs. Pro and Premium

Sage 50 Quantum can support up to 40 users. Sage 50 Pro is the entry-level version of the program. Sage 50 Pro includes basic functionality for accounting tasks such as receivables, payables, and general ledger. It also provides invoice creation capabilities. Sage 50 Pro is limited to a single user license and starts at $46.83 a month or $465.95 a year.
Sage 50 Premium builds on the capabilities of Sage 50 Pro, but allows for licensing up to five individual users. Sage 50 Premium also offers extended features, offering more opportunities for efficiency and automation than what is found in the Pro version of Sage 50. This software starts at $72.41 per month or $720.95 per year.
As for productivity and usability, Sage 50 Quantum has been reported to demonstrate an outdated interface, with limited remote access. Installation of the software has also been reported to be quite challenging. Technical hitches can also have a negative impact on the user experience, with system downtime and errors. Errors such as “Sage 50 Accounting has stopped working” while opening the task window have also been reported.
